The SafeSport Code defines the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s authority and jurisdiction, prohibited categories of abuse and misconduct, and the Center’s process for responding to and resolving abuse and misconduct claims affecting the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. The Code applies to all Participants (defined within) in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement and federal law dictates the Center’s authority and jurisdiction within the Movement. The Pacific Northwest Sectional Meet will be moving sites to Boise, Idaho and maintaining the originally scheduled dates of March 12-15, 2026. The Section Board pursued the possibility of holding the PNW Spring meet as an “approved” meet, but there are several things preventing that from being a viable option for a sectional level competition. Montana Swimming has updated the time standards for 2024-2028. During the fall HOD meeting, proposals were approved that changed our time standards and the new standards are below. USA Swimming Motivational Time Standards – MT Swimming Time Standards: These are the B/BB/A and so on time standards you are used to using. However, there is one change. Analise Belasco, Bozeman Barracudas, and Michael Schermerhorn, Missoula YMCA Swim Team, were named the 2023-2024 Montana Swimming Sportspersons of the Year during the recent Montana Swimming House of Delegates meeting.
