Montana Swimming is pleased to recognize our athletes of the year, sportspersons of the year and the outstanding volunteer of the year.

Cavan O’Connor (BOZ) and Kaia Lyons (BOZ) were named the 2025 Montana Swimming Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Both have the highest power point total form five events of any athlete sin the state. Congratulations on your outstanding performances, Cavan and Kaia.

Daniel Apostol (BY) and Aeri La (MYST) were named the 2025 Montana Swimming Sportspersons of the Year. Both are seniors in high school and planning to swim in college. Both athletes are enthusiastic about swimming, volunteer in the community, are outstanding students, and have great team spirit. Congratulations, Daniel and Aeri!

Eric Belasco (BOZ) was named the 2025 Montana Swimming Outstanding Volunteer of the Year. Eric serves as the Montana Swimming Officials Chair. Eric was instrumental in having swims observed at the Montana High School state swim championships this year. Eric is a leader, a mentor, and an outstanding official. Congratulations, Eric!
