Montana Swimming Observed and Approved Meet List

To have a season culminating championship meet observed, complete Form B (updated 10/2023) and email it to Susan Huckeby no less than 10 days prior to the start of the meet. The MHSA High School State Championships are an observed meet and is generally the only observed meet in the state.

Observed meets are held by an organization outside of USA Swimming and using rules that are not USA Swimming rules. Swimmers may request to have their swims observed by appointed USA Swimming observer officials for the times to be included in the SWIMS database. All athletes requesting to have their swims observed must be currenlty registered athlete members of Montana Swimming/USA Swimming prior to the start of the meet.

Swimmers must submit their request to have their swims observed for the MHSA High School State Championships by January 27. Email your legal first name, middle initial, last name, preferred name, USA Swimming ID number, date of birth, club team name, and high school team name to Susan Huckeby. High school teams should submit this information with their entries for high school state.
