Even with the addition of another swim camp – we do expect camps to sell out very quickly, as we offer one of the only college swim camp experiences for the entire Pacific Northwest, and at the rate they have grown the last three years.

University of Utah Swim Elite Training Camp – In Partnership With FINIS
The Utah Swim Elite Training Camp is expertly designed and led by our Utah coaching staff to elevate swimmers' performance. The camp focuses on enhancing stroke technique through structured, progressive sessions, while incorporating high-level pool training each day. Swimmers will work on improving all strokes, starts, turns, and racing strategies, with the added benefit of video analysis. The training component will seamlessly integrate these techniques into an energy-intensive program designed to optimize performance for the summer season.
Additionally, the camp emphasizes "whole person" development by introducing swimmers to performance expectations beyond the pool. This includes daily dryland and flexibility workouts, along with lectures on sports psychology, nutrition, and leadership to foster well-rounded athletes.
Campers will be exposed to the latest training equipment from the most innovative swim gear company in the world, FINIS, which is also the main sponsor of the University of Utah swim team. Campers will be able to purchase any FINIS gear at a discounted rate on the last day of camp.

2025 Western Colorado University High Altitude Training Camps
Athletes are invited to the 2025 Western Colorado University High-Altitude Training Camps this summer, either June 20-24 or June 27-July 1, 2025, at Gunnison, Colorado. These camps will be on the Western Colorado University campus in the highest collegiate pool in the country at 7,723 elevation. We will be offering challenging in water training 3 hours a day, underwater filming, day hikes in the mountains surrounding the Gunnison Valley, dryland and weight room sessions and guest speakers. We also include a white-water rafting trip if they are interested in adding it! This camp is ideal for your swimmers to enjoy Colorado, meet some swimmers from all over the country, work with collegiate athletes and coaching staff as well as get in some great training at altitude!
We typically see about 40% male:60% female participation in the camp. We see swimmers ages 10-18 come to the camp, and all abilities, those working toward high school state times to those working toward Sectionals and Futures cuts. We do have male collegiate athletes come to help coach the camp and work at the camp each summer. Last summer we had a young man (15yrs old) from Jacksonville, Florida come to both camps and actually stay the entire month of June to train with us. He was looking to make his Futures cuts, and did so at the meet he attended in Trinidad after leaving Gunnison! Our training will include technical stroke work and stroke refinement, with filming and analysis. Swimmers will receive a large amount of training and stroke/dive/turn/finish work.
Members of the Western Swimming Team and coaching staff will be there as counselors/instructors along with myself. All proceeds from this camp go to our Women’s Swimming & Diving team. Please check out this video https://youtu.be/lohEZhtR9t0 for more insight into our camps. To register please click on https://commerce.cashnet.com/westernswimpay I know your swimmers would love the camp, and benefit from the high altitude training. Just to let you know, we would love to pass on a 10% discount to your team if 6 or more swimmers from your club come to one of our camps!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Warmest Regards,
Coach Vickie

For those of you that do not know me, my name is Matthew Leach, and I am the head coach for the Washington State University women’s swim team in Pullman, WA. I want to start this email by sending well wishes to you, your families, staff, and swimmers, as well as happy holidays from all of us here at WSU!

Stroke & Training Camp – June 23rd to June 28th
Underwater Film Analysis – June 28th (Only open to Stroke & Training Participants)
Start & Turn Camp – June 28th to June 30th
Each year since we began in 2019, we have seen our registration numbers continue to increase drastically – with our largest attendance at last year’s camp, and we are excited to continue to offer one of the few and premier college swim camp experiences for the Pacific Northwest. We couldn’t do this without all of you and we appreciate your support in continuing to offer a one-of-a-kind experience for swimmers in the PNW and being able to teach and share our passion for swimming with them. Our 2024 camps will return to Gibb pool after it was closed for cleaning and renovations last summer – as we expect this camp to be our largest yet!
