(1) Attendance.

Cross-Registration attendance will be limited to 150 athletes from the opposite region (i.e. 150 NW region athletes at the 4C Section Meet & 150 4C region athletes at the NW meet). Exception: If all 150 spots are not filled by the specified deadline (see #2 below), the meet host may open up unfilled spots to athletes from outside of the Western Blue Section, not to exceed a total of 150 athletes from outside of the meet's specific region. 

(2) Dates & Times

a) Primary cross-registration will open to NW & 4C region teams on Monday, September 21st @ 10:00 am Pacific / 11:00 am Mountain / 12:00 pm Noon Central.

b) Secondary cross-registration will open on Monday, October 5th @ 10:00 am Pacific / 11:00 am Mountain / 12:00 pm Noon Central. Meet hosts may begin accepting registrations from athletes outside of the Western Blue Section, not to exceed a total of 150 athletes from outside of the meet's specific region. 

(3) Cross-Registration Process.

a)Teams may submit their request for athlete spaces via email to the designated cross-registration email addresses for the meet they wish to attend, beginning at the specified dates and times noted above, #2. Requests received prior to the opening times will not be considered.

b) A maximum of 50 athlete spaces may be requested by any one team. Multiple emails from a single team will not be considered as separate requests. Teams may only submit one email representing their entire request for athlete spaces.

c) A confirmation email will be returned indicating acceptance of the team's request, or denial of the request due to capacity having been reached. Teams receiving a denial will be placed on a waiting list in the order in which their email was received, in the event spaces become available. 

d) Teams receiving a confirmation acceptance must submit the payment of cross-registration fees (see #4 below) so that payment is received by the meet host within ten (10) days of notification of acceptance. Teams whose payment of fees is not received within the ten (10) days may be at risk of losing their acceptance.

(4) Cross-Registration Fees.

a) The cross-registration fee will be $42.00 per athlete space reserved, payable to the meet host (per WRS Championship Procedures).

b) Teams will receive a refund for athlete spaces actually used, as confirmed by meet entries.

c) No refund will be given for athlete spaces reserved but not used, as confirmed by meet entries.
